my costs included the truck. i got my truck into the 10's for under $30k including the cost of the truck. the truck was used. if i paid new price for the truck you would have to add $7k to that price.

Maybe do a lil research before swingin from someone's nuts. Jim has been through a lot of combos and tried various things to get where he is. We all do it. Trial and error is how we learn

I dont have many miles on the new engine. I jsut got it back form the shop and have to await the new converter install and tuning for the 90mm TB so I dont drive it anyway right now. I have maybe 2k miles on it.

o, cuz i have been thinkin about how much power i have been robbed of by my 80k mile engine...i wish i had the money to upgrade to an LQ9 but the simple fact is i dont. it hasnt been driven too hard just sad to think about all these new motors probably making more power than mine with the same mods because they are simply new..fact of life, o well, back to the original topic, sorry for the off post

i did learn a lot on my last truck but when i got this truck i knew exactly what i wanted to do with it right from the start and i did it. 6.0 with springs and some bolts, turbo system, stock 4l80e, stall, fuel system and tuning and a little nitrous to get it moving.

once i got into the 10's then sure i was in uncharted waters and i have been learning(blowing **** up) every since.

2 days gone and no numbers yet, I think they already ran it and the numbers was way less then they expected and that is what all this stalling and excuses is all about
