Default KB or Trick kit exhaust straight up ?!

Has anyone turned the exhaust straight up through the hood? I don't wonder if you like it, I wonder if it will hurt the winsheild or the roof paint on long drives. Yes, I am serious!

there is a twin turbo truck around here somewhere that has an exhaust pipe sticking out of each side of the hood. saw it last weekend at the shootout.

I've thought about it and here's conclusion I came to: exhaust out of hood = not a street vehicle, impossible to pass inspection. Also, if you do that you better be packing some serious heat under the hood because you've got guys like stock48 going deep 9s on full exhaust all the way out the back. JMO.

Buying a spare hood, flat black it, big hole for turn up pipe, take 30 minutes to swap hood and put exhaust that dumps under bed back on. thought it would be different. I love the sound the turbo makes with my cutout open.

my friend did this on his car, we have to always carry around a damn cover so people don't throw crap in it or if it rains. i told him not to drive it while raining also since the O2's will get destroyed if water hits them. lastly, at night the windshield will fog up (passenger side luckily) and the heat waves are visibly hard to look through.
