Default KB Racing Turbo Hot Pipes kits NOW AVALABLE!!

Hey guy's I though I would let you now that I have decided to become a board sponsor and sell my hot pipe kits! Here is what will be included. A base kit will have the cross over pipe made from 16 ga aluminized steel, a Turbo manifold built out of HEAVY schd 40 (3/16 thick) steel pipe and weldels, and a 3" aluminized steel down pipe. This base kit is going to be offered at a introductory price of $1500.

Upgrades to this will be a 3 1/2" aluminized steel down pipes for an additional $100.

Also a Tial, or equivalent waste gate and flanges can be added for an additional $300.

The base kit will not have provisions for a waste gate since there are too many different type and mounting possibility's. The down pipe will terminate just under the body and will need to have connections made to attach it you your tail pipes.

Here is some pictures of pipes I have built and how the system is laid out.

3 1/2 down pipe (cut out and waste gate are not included in the 3 1/2 down pipe or base price)

I will post some pics of the actual kit pipes in a few days
Let me know if you have any question about anything.

Kyle

KB nice work. Newbie to turbo stuff. Curious, why 2pc. flange on manifold? Either that's how they're manfactured or does a turbo heat them up to the point where this is the best way to avoid leaks. Q2:What about stainless, is it more of a $ issue or durability?

I cut the flanges in the middle after I finish building them to allow for expansion to help keep it sealed to the head then it get hot. The bolt holes are also enlarged so it can "move" a little as he heats and cools. Helps keep things from cracking.

I don't have the means to build anything out of stainless right now . Steel also has less of an expansion rate then ss as it gets hot, so it less likely to crack.

I had Kyle build me a set of hot pipes (some of the pics above are from my setup) and I am extremely happy with how it all came out. I'm happy to see that all of you now have access to these kits as well

Kyle has done an excellent job with these hot pipes. The two piece flange, enlarged holes, and flex sections are evidence of a well designed kit. Great job and price
