Default KB front mount limits......

Well I have found the weak link in the KB hot parts if you plan on running high boost. After blowing the waste gate out of the cross pipe at the track, and now blowing it completely off the stock manifold side Im in the process of building a beefed up cross pipe. What sux is it melted my new hyd. clutch line and some brake lines in the process..... driving my truck with no brakes or clutch was not fun.......... Im planning on going with stainless this time, I would just weld it again, but it will prolly just blow again. Im runnig about 16psi right now and 19psi max on the controller. I need to get it beefed up b/c i want to get 20+ psi out of it. If i cant get it to hold I will prolly just try the trick hot parts. Just letting yall know the kit will not hold any kind of high boost. I have about 1k miles on the kit with 2 major failures at 16+ psi. I hope the manifold holds.

Not calling you a liar, and talking trash. But i have seen stock y pipes come into my work like that...the most recent was one that had a slight dent in it that put stress on the drivers side flange and it finally cracked. Are you use nothing was in a bind?

damn... I was planning on going with kyle's kit too... But I will wait to hear more on the subject, from him and from different owners before I pass my final judgement.

no, it has a flex joint in the middle, I can push it back up there by hand easily.
