Why do you like gradual power? Seems like instant power would be more desirable.

I feel bad for ya man It sucks to spend that kind of money and not be happy. I've messed with a couple Procharged cars and after driving them and then my truck, I'd take my turbo with less boost any day. Same boost, say bye bye....

A better tune and a high stall converter would help you a lot i think though.

yea maybe I should have went the turbo route. PM me a price on a kit for my truck for future reference. I might be making a change soon, if I can't get my setup working the way I want it to.

I just read the last couple of pages....

If you want to tow and want instant torque than a PD blower is what you want. Period. Used Maggys are all over the place as people are upgrading to the new TVS units. Bolt it on and go, it's that simple.

The unit you have makes a lot of power but near the top of the powerband. The Radix makes a ton low in the powerband and has a nice flat torque curve for "more power under the curve", lol. (doing BC's job here

Before you spend any more $ read all you can about the 3 different types of superchargers and the turbo systems.

I went with procharger just because when I want to cruise I can do it quietly with procharger it almost feels like stock. when you race you don't race in 1500 to 2800 rpms you take your rpms as far as your engine will allow. Procharger's power is up top that's why you need the stall so get the 3200 or 3400 and you'll be.

rockerjoe2008 maybe you still have all torque management on and thats the problem? When t/m was removed from my truck it was instant tire smoke also had to mod transmission.

Agreed, if you was looking for instant in the seat power, the maggie was the way, could have been done on the stock converter, as said more under the curve and normal day to day driving. My truck drives stock if I am not in it. You need a lil tuning and a converter, you will be happy. To utilize the power of the procharger you need to stall it up. I am running a 3200 and when I plant my foot it is gone.. http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...ent=001-14.flv

Yea, my tune still has 100% of the TM on it and it still shifts like stock. I talked to my tuner today and HP tunes is supposed to be e-mailing him a patch that will allow him to correctly tune my truck. So hopefully when I get this thing tuned right, I will be a little more happy with it.

Also, the intercooler for these 08 trucks is mounted horizontally a foot or so behind the front bumper. It has a piece of rubber that hangs down that is supposed to catch air and redirect it into the intercooler that works ok. Today I took the bottom valance off of my front bumper that was restricting airflow to the intercooler. I noticed a real difference in throttle response and acceleration after making this simple mod. So that is a little encouraging. Plus, I think the bumper looks better without it.
