Intake gaskets from Magnacharger?

O-ring in fuel pressure regulator block not messed up?

Also, as stated previously:
Is the throttle blade closed tight, and not drilled
Is the IAC motor functioning properly/not seized?

If it is a stock 5.3 and the VE table is still stock, how high does it idle with the MAF unplugged?

Intake gaskets from Magnacharger? : Yes

O-ring in fuel pressure regulator block not messed up? It is good no fuel coming from it. Are you talking about the one in the regulator or the one on the block.

Also, as stated previously:
Is the throttle blade closed tight, and not drilled It is tight. But there is a small hole drilled in it.
Is the IAC motor functioning properly/not seized? It is new and seems to be OK.

If it is a stock 5.3 and the VE table is still stock, how high does it idle with the MAF unplugged? : Have not tried that.

Try putting a WTB ad in the classifieds for the TB. I'm sure there are a lot just gathering dust in garages.

Sounds like IAC ( Idle Air Count in tune) needs work. Assuming the IAC valve and wiring to it is okay.

OK wrong on last statement if it is at 1000 it will stay there until I plug it back in and go up from there. And will not go back down until it has cooled off. Unplug it when cool and will idle fine. IAC is new and I cleaned the crap out of TB yesterday so all is clean. Have checked all wires and they are fine.

Could be a tune or wiring issue, or could just be extra air getting in somewhere else. Did you try plugging the hole in the TB blade?
