I been looking at the NNBS trucks lately as a new daily and it's seems like ALOT of them have the 4.8L... or maybe only the 4.8 guys are selling lol, I don't know. As I understand it they should be stronger than the 03 engine I have, so should be strong builds coming in the next few years.

All my mods are in my signature.

The truck is an 09 4.8 with the 4speed auto.

Its KBracing's magnum 76 kit with his FMIC. Turbo is blanketed.

AEM TruBoost controller and wideband.

Running factory take off LS9 injectors with an aeromotive 340 in tank.

3" mandrel DP heat wrapped to a full 3" exhaust with a big magna flow straight through muffler to a mandrel turn down.

Running a 4" air filter like most guys off the turbo.

93 octane with Snow stage two meth injection running the boost juice 50/50 mix through the big nozzle supplied in the kit.

The trans is stock for now, but I do have double torque management for the shifts to preserve the stock clutches.

Has the factory 9.5 10 bolt rear end with a TruTrac and richmond 3.73 ring and pinion.

The motor is bone stock...even the intake manifold and fuel rails...the way it left the lot.

And final power was made at 15.5psi which is where we wanted to stop to stay safe on factory head bolts.

Damn, that is amazing. I can't wait to turbo mine!

Do you know what part number the Aeromotive is? 11140,11141, or 11142?

Where did you mount your AEM gauges? Pics?

What turbo blanket? How do you like it?

Sorry for all the questions.

Sweet bud!

Well your kicking butt for stock cam & and more so on stock valve springs. You should be fine at 15.5, just keep that timing in check. I would think no more then 15-16 degree's. I ran 17 with E85, Remember timing is whats going to lift those heads and in your case you need a little extra room for error running 93. (bad tank of gas or what have you)
