Default Joe Gibbs 4.8L

Hi, I am looking at a Joe Gibbs edition truck with the 4.8 and 5 speed. I was wondering, what kind of numbers do these trucks put down stock? Also, what is the approximate quarter-mile times? Do they still make a good daily driver?

Thanks

ok, thanks. What would that translate into for the quarter? Do these trucks still retain decent fuel mileage or not?

High 13's if you can row the gears fast enough.

I'm a pretty decent shifter, although it has been a while since I have driven a manual. Would I need a new clutch if I changed pullies and added water/meth?

Get er done.

keep in mind if you decide to change the pulley you will need to upgrade the fuel pump, blower nose drive, and calibration.

my buddy put down almost 460rwhp with the same kind of truck and blower and the stock clutch was just fine, but as I recall the 2-3 shift was starting to get sticky after alot of abuse.
