Hey I got the MagnaCharger in my Caddy. Now I am having problems with my intercooler resevoir. It seems to be leaking. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem before. Also shouldn't there be an overflow or something? When the coolant gets hot it will produce pressure, but where can this pressure got? I suspect the gasket on the cap to be worn out, but it shouldn't since it is not a part that moves around too much. In 9,000 km I lost about 1/3 of coolant in the resevoir. Is there any other options I can do?

 

The mounting holes have a thin casting around them. If you had to enlarge the hole at all then that's where it's leaking. A new reservoir is $20 + Shipping thru magnacharger. I have $27 in my new reservoir. You can also look into a larger one that will fit in the factory 2nd battery location. That is on the passenger side up by the firewall. Somebody on here has the larger reservoir...just can't remember who.

Shoot me a PM with your mailing address. I will ship you a new one under warranty N/C. This will be coming UPS ground, and will be in your hands next week. It is not a HUGE issue to have it leaking, just annoying.
