Default Intercooler or not?

I'm planning on running 7 to 10 psi on a 9.2 to 1 forged 6.0l, question is do I really need to run an intercooler? What are the pros and cons?

Its a no brainer.. Run a IC.

For under $300 you can have yourself a nice ebay intercooler and some piping. Cant remember the demisions of mine off the top of my head. But c-notching the frame rails was needed to get it to fit in b/t them. Generally I always heard anything over 5psi, A intercooler is a must.

Intercooler it is - I'm putting this in a 84' 2500 Suburban with lots o lift and tires - I'll have to relocate my tranny/steering/engine coolers in order to get a decent sized IC in there - I believe I have a lot more room than you guys do in your newer trucks.
