Default A intercooler ?

How big is too big of a fmic? I have a new cooler for a Freightliner truck that I don't use anymore. I have to get out of storage to get the spec's but if it is way to big and cause problems. I won't both diggin it out.

I know there are equations to help figure this out but I am to lazy to try and find them. I was of the same mind thinking that bigger was better, but I dont think that is always the case. For one thing, you can experience some "LAG" in your setup if the I/C is to large or just not built efficiently. I noticed some lag with my Damx intercooler, not because it was built ineffieciently i doubt, but because of its size. I went from 7psi, down to about 5psi, maybe a hair less. Also, having the same truck as you do, i know that space is not an easy commodity to come by. A front mount I/C is going to be tough to pull off without EFans and/or moving the radiator.

Well my thought was, I already have lets put it to use. I figured it would increase the lag time too much. I might drag it out anyway.

My intercooler is probably bigger than a Duramax's in volume, and my truck has no lag whatsoever.
