i was about to say, with temps that high, either your pump isnt working or you havent checked your reservoir level lately.

my pump "seems" to work fine. reservoir is above the inlet/outlet levels enough. How do you test the pump working at 100%? not a smart *** question, just a question. If it's close to 100* outside I will hit 190 to 200 on the IAT's. Drop just 10* in ambient and my IAT's only get to maybe 180 on a 1/4 mile run. That's why I'd like to have the time to make a graph of my IAT's vs ambient. With me, the curve would shoot almost vertical as you pass 95* ambient.

j's, only a 3.1 pulley...You don't hear of 200* IAT's that often and when you do it's normally a mechanical issue. But i can't find anything wrong with mine, so until i get a larger hxr, I am ASSUMing mine is just due to a 2.8 pulley and hot weather, but on a 3.1 pulley-as always BC is usually on with issues. Something is more than likely a miss with a 3.1 pulley generating 210* IAT's. I still say the IAT spark is agressive, but I didn't realize we were talking about a 3.1 pulley.

doesnt the pump have one "speed" setting? on?

when i fill it, i turn the truck on and have it cycle through while filling. plus since i have bags, i make sure to get the front end is high enough to the air out of the system.
