Do you have a FMIC? None on mine and I usually see 30*F over ambient. I run meth for WOT and any boost over 5 psi and it works well at cooling the intake air.

I have a new tune so I have been keeping and eye on it recently.
I was told by some experienced rodders at the Dyno shop my CAI was a problem on the street because it's an open under hood element, and even if it does have a token box and hood rubber seal it's really a hot air intake.

I run @ 129* cruising around in 95* heat with the stock non-modified air box. With the AIRAID CAI I run 10* hotter. So it looks like the CAI is really an HAI.

I tested by driving in the same temps on the same routes doing two back to back WOT runs through 3rd gear. Then I drove it normally until it returned to the cruising temp. Going the same distance the AIRAID didn't fully return to the cruising temp.
