I ordered a Nelson m/order tune, mostly to see if I could get a little more timing at wot. only getting 12 deg with radix tune.
Installed Nelson Pcm today. Truck started right up, idled perfect and no codes, no passlock, no crank re-learn which was all cool
Went for a drive with scanner...
75 deg ambient
120 iat, [sensor is in intake manifold]
195 ect
o2"s at 910 @wot
got 16 deg timing with no nr @ wot, was hoping for alittle more but that's a start. i don't know if the pcm will give anymore timing with some drive time or not, we'll see.
I asked him to take out alittle line pressure for 1-2 shift on normal driving as my built trans chirped into 2nd most times, which is annoying for daily driving.
Overall sop meter drives much better.
Another thing I noticed, since I put the blower on, the truck had an audible tick-tick like detonation or ping that never showed up on the scanner and that's gone. Also, bypass valve seems to close about 200 rpm lower than before, not sure why that would occur but it does.
gotta get a wideband and hookup my boost gauge.

Good luck man! I had to go to a custom tune also. Too many little driveability issues with the stock tuning. Now it is all good. They added 4* at WOT to my timing tables and still no KR. I guess they added more than that to the part throttle tables too and that is what I really notice every day. Shifts are night and day.
Only difference is mine was a custom dyno tune. Hope yours works out as good as mine.
