Default Injectors for Maggie w/ Flex Fuel

I have the MP112 on my flex-fuel L59 5.3 and i have maxed out the stock injectors. Just wondering if anyone makes a direct replacement for my application? Heard talk of having to possibly get pigtail adapters or something but not sure.

they are an ev-6 connector, you could use the ford racing LU-60,Or LU-80 with the same ev-6 connection, a 1/2 spacer under the fuel rails will fix the differance in height.

Or 1/2 phenolic spacer between the manifolds and also lower your Iat's as well.

Default Flex fuel injectors using an EV6 connector

Here is a vendor list of injectors to choose from. Choose one with an EV6 connector or you can purchase an adaptor pigtail from them.

I spoke with a tech there and he told me that the EV6/U.S. car connector are the same type. I too will be upgrading soon.

Do the flex fuel vehicles have a different connector?

I thought all the NBS trucks used Multech style injectors.

Yes the flex fuel 5.3s (l59) have a different injector connector than the standard 5.3s (lm7). It seems that the flex fuels are gonna take the EV6 connection. The question now is how long are the stock injectors, because you can buy an EV6 style injector in all different lengths........

Mini 60's are 2", flex fuel stockers are 2 1/2", and the tall boy's are 3".

hope that helps.

FYI Can't use any injector shorter than 2.5" or the fuel rails will have to be trimmed/milled.
