Default Info on the procharger intake setup IAT's

I talked to Justin today, after I sent my logs to him. I checked them out, was very surprised on the IAT's.. My intake temps never went beyond 90deg's the whole time I was logging, or in boost. This leads me to think with a good IC the stock location is fine.. Just thought I would share that...

When you say stock location, are you talking about the IAT sensor? Because if your sensor has been relocated to downstream of the I/C, those are really, really good temperatures. If the IAT is before the supercharger, the temperature reading is meaningless.

No this is with the blower where it sits, the intake right on the back of it, with the mass just about in the stock location...

Oh. Well, if you don't know the air temp entering the engine, this is pretty much pointless, except we all know that the day that you logged, the ambient temp never got above 90 degrees.

In the MAF sensor. Most of us put F-body sensors in our intake manifolds, and reroute the temp sensor wires from the MAF to the new sensor.

Its in the MAF sensor. Do you have the MAF after the blower or before?

Ok my MAF is after the IC, like I said almost in the stock postion, thats the temps readings I logged, so what I was saying is they are pretty good with the air cleaner location where procharger has it, thats the temp of the air entering the engine..

Hmmm I have the blower on the pass side where they put them for procharger. From the back of the blower there is a 90 with the airfilter on that no MAF. From the blower outlet piping goes to the IC inlet. From the IC outlet pipe goes up to where the factory MAF is, right about where mine is. Then after that it goes to the TB....
