Installed the new Magnuson tensioner today....(again, thanks Henry!). Install went very smooth. Big tough unit

Lots more tension and no belt chirp at shiftpoints.

it is roughly twice the size. Compare it hand in hand and it's like wow! I havent gone wot with it yet but it moves a lot less at idle han the stock one did.

I like how the pulley faces backwards.....It would be really hard to throw a belt with this thing

the "stock" tensioner for comparison....never mind the broken stop.

It has alot more BEEF!! Works great with the 8 Rib belts too!!

Thanks...One thing though and maybe just coincidence?

When I start up cold I am getting a very high-pitched pulley squeak, I can't nail down which one is doing it but it was never there before. After it warms up (just a few minutes) it goes away! Nothing is loose and all the idlers turned smoothly when we had the belt off.

Time for the Metco's maybe? where the best source (cheapest) for them?
