Default impressions of front mount turbo kits

to those of you runnin front mount turbos... what are your impressions- the good and the bad, how much boost do you run, on the street and on the track, what other mods do you have and what supporting mods are needed, do you have any cooling additives besides a FMIC ie meth injection alky control etc.,and most importantly is it a streetable combo and yes i read the sticky

i really have not found anything i do not like. but i have not tried to change the plugs yet. if that is the only thing that i find i don't like, i can deal with that. my **** pulls hard at 13psi. at 75 i can break my tires loose. thats 22x10's with 305 40 22 tires in 95* weather and a 4l80e. truck never gets above 195* with a stock therm. the only thing that sucks is the price to do it right. you can get away cheaper with doing it yourself, but if something goes wrong there will be alot of finger pointing. all i have is a front mount intercooler that came with my kit. my truck drives very well. i have put 1200 miles on it in the 2 weeks since i got it back with no problems. but alan futral did put it all together. by the way he is the man!

first i was looking at the t67 kit cuz i thought the t76 would be tooo large for a 5.3l but youare runnin a 6.0 . did he have to fab up any extra parts in addition to what came with the kit cuz their website says that the kits with larger turbos may require fab work, and if you dont mind me asking what did he charge you to install cuz the t67 kit is $5400 plus install a little pricey but worth it from what ive heard- they have good quality, fit and finish etc.

i don't know how much the install was on the kit because he done everything. one other thing is the kit was missing some parts when it came in and alan called them twice about it and noboby would call he back! i went extreme on alot of things like rods and coatings exc. because i plan on spraying down the road. lets just say i spent more than i paid for my truck new with tt&l for everything. i would call alan and see if he wants to install one of these kits again. he is fabbing one on a escalade for a saints football player now that looks pretty cool. it uses the truck manifolds. alan says that you will not have to worry about them cracking down the road.

edit: oh yea he had to have the a/c line made to run air. it blows ice cold.
