If I put some patriot stage 3 6.0 heads (72cc) on my 383 it would drop my compression down to around 10.1:1.

How much boost can be run safely with this set-up and 93 octane? (motor specs are in the sig) I would like to run a Turbnetic Ball Bearing TC-70 and at least 7-8lbs of boost. I figure that would be good for 550rwhp in my truck later down the road.

 

you should be fine with your tune spot on

if im not mistaken the lq9 has a 10:1 compression and 2004SSS put i think about 15psi through one without meth

 

More boost will allow less timing, that is fine to a certain point. You should be able to run 7-8lbs, maybe more with meth.
