Default how will a turbo do on my 402 as is

I'm thinking of putting a turbo on my truck but I don't want to mess with my engine at all. I currently have 10.5 compression and it is completely forged. What boost level will give me the equivalent of a 200 shot? Don't know if it matters but current cam is a 228 230 on a 112 lsa. If turbo is not a good Idea with what I have I'll probably just bump up to a 2 stage nitrous 250 shot.

One thing 200 shot of nitrous is harder on parts then 200hp with boost. The instant torque taxes the parts more.
HP output will depend on which turbo, type of exhuast etc. I would say 12-15 psi would do the job nicely, using a 76 turbo.
You will need and IC and/or watermeth injection.

can you pm me the price of your kit with an air to water IC. I may take advantage of your lay away plan.

TRICK: Out of curiosity what a/r housing would you set him up with?
Tarinitup: Why are you looking to switch from nitrous to turbo. Trying not to be bottle dependant or just want to make a change?

I would start with the .96 and make adjustments from there if need be.

Small nitrous shot with meth or hi octane makes a sweet IC for the short term.

No contradiction, nitrous works well for a IC just not for the long term or overing the long haul.

That's what I'd run the A/R at.
