Default How much can you spin a TVS 2300?

I was just curious where these blowers are maxed out. I am running a 10% overdrive with a 2.8 pulley and seeing 10 psi. I wanted to go to a 2.7 pulley but not sure if that is spinning it too much or if it will even make any more power.

Seeing as the rotor diameter is the same as the 1900, just a bit longer, you're fine.

The 2300 cant go as far as the 1900 does, but 20-22k should be no problem at all for extended periods. You start approaching 25k and you might effect its longevity. Frankly I'm kind of surprised that pulley combo is only netting 10psi.

What throttle body do you have?

I think the longer rotors tend to deflect more and stress the bearings. Guys have tired to spin LS9 blowers like some do with the LSA and the results havent been good... theyve welded them in place lol

I have a 90mm throttle body, but this 383 breathes very well also has no cats. I was just curious if I would see any gains going to a 2.7 pulley

In that case, I recommend finding a similar chart for the 2300 lol. These things have been around a while, so they're bound to be floating around. This was just the first that came to mind.

I’ll tell you this much, I spun my 2300 to a little over 22,000 and anything over like 20,500 and it didn’t really pick up any power. Boost went up but power did not. I had every cooling mod available, and it didn’t get any crazy IATS it was just so far out of its efficiency range.

Thats the precise information i was looking for. What set-up got you to the 22,000 area and what kind of power were you seeing? Thanks again for the info

Don’t know about power, it was on my 370 With a 230/242 115 cam. Never ran it at the track as I wasn’t happy with the gains once I turned it up from 15 psi. The turbo is a whole different ball game.

8.25 ati balancer and 2.6 blower pulley at 7000 rpm 22,200 if your counting.
