How much boost will my motor handle with my current setup in my sig. That is of course with the right tune. I am also at 4500 feet.

How much are you running right now and how maxed out are your injectors?

 

Should handle 12psi safley, or so with the correct tune. If your truck was lighter it would take over 15psi with good fuel. You are going to need bigger injecters, and meth though.

 

I am doing a dyno tune sunday over at edge. I am going to use E-85 so maybe I wont have to worry about meth for awhile. I was think 12psi Iis what I wanted to shoot for but I think the injectors I was told would be good for 12psi will not be and will have to get some 60+ injectors.

 

If you gona run the 42 lbs injectors and E85, you will probably running out injector at about 7-8 psi and 6k rpm. I can only run my 4.8 to 5800 and 11 psi with E85 and the 42's injectors are done. E85 needs about 30% more fuel. I can get 14psi out of them at 6K on gas. That's with spraying Meth (-20* WWF).

 

Thanks kb. I was mostly concerned with how much the motor will handel before breaking pistons and blowing head gaskets.

well about 2 years ago the limit was ~8lbs........last year was 10.....now it's 12!
