I would not put more than 9-10 PSI in any stock motor.

I dont agree.

Wayyyyyy too many people including myself over 10 psi and zero problems.

Its all in the tune, plain and simple. Poor tuning/ running on the edge = broken pistons .

To answer OP questions , although I have an LQ4 which is .4 less compression ,

I see 12 psi in 90* weather with a 2.6 blower pulley and Innovators West 10% OD crank pulley.

In the cooler 50* and below i see 12-14 psi peak.

A Stock LS bottom end is good for about 800 horse, higher than this you have to worry about bending rods. This has been proven, but its all in the tune.

What other stock engine can make this kind of power?? NONE!!!!!!!
