Im debating that....dont plan to right now since the intercooler cannot move backwards (even slightly) due to the trans cooler behind it, and cannot move forward (maybe 1/8") due to the little bracket thing I had to clearance on the back of the 99-02 grille. I have it bolted to the bottom support thing. With the pipes hooked up it is even more solid and I have faith it will not be going anywhere.

As far as the integrity of the hood latch staying down I dont think it will be an issue since I didnt touch the welds on the bracket.

Not that any of my customers have called. You are restricting air flow to the ac core slightly, but if your fans are up to the task your good.
The key is to keep all the cores, inter cooler ac and radiator all clean. any one have trash, bugs etc blocking flow would hurt over all flow.

That a-frame is a bolt on part. Feel behind it and you'll find out the top is held on by two 10mm bolts.

Yea I figured that it was just a coincidence that my a/c went out a week after I installed my tru-cool 40K but wasn't positive.
