How far can i push it???

I bent all eight rods at around 15-17 psi when I overboosted. I had more than one problem at the same time, so may be boost wasn't the only factor.

Also, mine is an LQ4 if you have an LQ9 then the rods can handle more.

how do you know if you have a LQ4 or LQ9?

Is that the stock engine you have in your truck? If so check the 8th place in your VIN# .

U = LQ4

N = LQ9
