try fast intake LSXRT if you can , iys costly buy worth it for the torque issue , after 5000 rpms its falls so dam quick due to less air , fast fix this problem by easy porting to allow more air at high rpms

Well today me and my buddy that tunes GTP's helped me tune the truck with my HP tuners and I think all problems are gone, He also talked me into turning up the boost to 9lbs it is bad *** I can honestly say it is probably making about 440 hp at the rear wheel and make about a high 12 pass, the only thing I don't understand is Hinson supercars said the 5.3 will only handle about 6-7lbs of boost before you smash the pistons but I wonder if that is because there innercooler was not in direct air flow and the small 2" charge pipe to the innercooler and I have fixed both problems and IAT's are about 75 degrees now and no KR at wot, 1-2 KR at part throttle for some reason, and I installed a corvette servo and changed trans fluid no signs of wear! SO HOW MUCH BOOST CAN I SAFELY RUN ON STOCK 5.3 WITH NO MODS WITHOUT BLOWING IT UP?

Glad you got the problems worked out. Just needed some more tuning. I was running 10 psi boost no problem on the 42lb injectors. I was running out of injector and having to shift at 5000. You have 60lb injectors, right? Like said above me, just keep an eye on the wideband. If you have enough fuel, I wouldn't hesistate to turn it up to 12!

Most people don't find the mechanical limit of the pistons. They just run out of fuel and burn the piston as a result.

People burn pistons due to shitty tunes or not running good fuel. You could run 20+ with good fuel and a spot on tune.
