Default Homemade 4" intake for TVS1900

Used volant box, spectre filter that took forever to get here, but is the biggest that will fit, 12" of AL 4" pipe, and 2x 45 degree rubber couplings. I bought 24" of AL but only needed half that, and if I did it again, I would go with 1x20 degree coupling, and 1 45 degree. Since ive had the blower ive been SD and I took out the maf a while ago for no particular reason but since then the intake has been kind of a hodgepodge. This only took about an hour to make, even with cutting with a hacksaw. I have more clamps, but they arent needed.

Does anyone have some extra cover screws for the volant lid? Is the volant box suppose to be secured on the engine side of it? All I saw was two bolt holes on the fender side and nothing else...

I think im going to just run a breather on the passenger valve cover breather and block off the hose....or maybe ill route it to the other side, I just dont want to pulling junk throw the intake and blower. The TB was slightly oily when I took the tube off.

I got the pipe and couplers from intakehoses.com, the box from a member on here, and I cant remember where i ordered the filter from.

The maf ID is 3 or 3.5" so it wouldnt fit with this any way. But earlier thats why I said I didnt have a good reason for removing it but since I wasnt using it I felt it was just in the way and needed to be removed.

Old setup was the maggie intake tube and S&B intake box. The tension is the standard one that comes with the tvs1900, although I have never compared them side by side. The only time I had a belt issue is when my alternator went out when I suddenly let off the throttle. Other than that its been fine even at 11psi.

Not tryin to rain on your parade, cause I always like when people fab stuff. Doing it w/. little cash outlay is a bonus. Just curious, what was wrong w/. old Maggie tube? Or was it cause of eliminating the MAF? Personally, I like a consistent diameter intake tube on any vehicle, but sometimes it isn't practical for whatever reason.
2 things: TVS / bay need a lil cleaning love, but more importantly, take that intk. tube apart, take bare alum. sections & do as the Rolling Stones would say, "Paint it Black".

G/L finding those big Volant screws. Try callin em yet? Never hurts.

The maggie tube wasnt long enough to go all the way to the box since I removed the MAF, and this is an inch bigger which never hurts. I plan to clean it up and paint it when I get home since I just did this with a hacksaw on my tailgate in a parking deck

All of my friends say, "dang your engine bay is so clean" but I havent cleaned it since pollen hit in spring, I definitely will before the 408 goes in.

Drove around a little tonight and of course no SOTP difference and intake temp was about the same

Did they have the large head like the volant screws or you just matched the thread and replaced all of them?
