I'm running autometer cobalt + LC-1 & xd-16. I painted pillar w/ vht plastic paint. It matches perfectly. Pictures were taken before my lc-1 was installed. Gauges no longer reads --.-.

I agree w/ 1slowhoe on reasons for gauges + cool factor, but a Radix is coolfactor enough for me.

The fuel pressure sender screws onto the test port of the fuel rail after you remove the schrader valve. My LC-1 wideband is in the stock O2 bung. It has 2 analog outputs. One is programed as a narrow band. That is hooked up to the stock O2 harness, and the other is programmed 0-5v 10-18 AFR for tuning. The serial data connection is plugged into the gauge.

Gauges are not difficult to wire up, just a little tedious to do things right. The LC-1 takes a little more care to wire up correctly. All grounds must go to one point at the engine block.

Honestly from the inside, my truck sounds like a diesel when at idle. It's a tapping/clicking sound that's variable depending on engine RPM's. When driving it's usually muted out but I'm gonna remove it, there's probably air in the line but I still don't like fuel at my eye level. Anyone else have this problem? I didn't have this problem with my last set up on my old truck.

LOL Doesn't that fuel pressure gauge say something about only mounting outside of vehicle?

WOW if it does, it would explain alot and make me less comfortable to drive my truck now! Lol! I really like what blown3qtr did and yukon400. I think I'm just gonna change it all up and do something I really like!

If you have a fuel pressure gauge with an electric sending unit that srews into the fuel rail, then there is no problem having the gauge in the cab.

No your right DozerDan, it is mechanical. I had a electric one in my typhoon and I was fine with that one. But after reading your post I checked it out and it does say to only mount it outside of cab or something like that. Glad to know I was right about thinking it's a stupid idea to have a fuel line at eye level. Well thanks to this thread I know which boost gauges I am gonna buy next. I'm gonna stick that fuel pressure one in the cowl of my hood when I get it. Thanks for noticing, surprised that I didn't!
