Default high oil pressure after maggie install

my oil pressure gauge was screwing up before the install. Typical stepper motor problems, but after the install, my pressure is up to 80 at idle (vs the typical 40) and with throttle it is up somewhere off the gauge. What would be the first thing you guys would look at? Where could I hook up a manual gauge?

You can hook up a scanner of some kind and look at what the PCM sees for oil pressure. My 03 Tahoe also has the typical stepper motor problems. The first time I uploaded a tune with EFI to my Hoe, I noticed the oil pressure wouldn't move. It was coincidence that it happened around the same time. It probably hadn't been working for a few weeks and I never noticed. Fuel gauge went out shortly afterwards, and speedo followed several months later.

Thanks, picked up 05crew's 112HH a few weeks ago. Just got around to installing it. Haven't really tested it out, waiting 'till I get my gauges hooked up and I can pull some logs. Feels pretty good at part throttle. I did notice it's pretty easy to get traction control to kick in during the 1-2 shift. lol
