In Florida here no matter how hot or what boost were running we can keep IAT's 120 or below. Cruising far less. We use liquid to air intercoolers though to do this and can chill the intercooler coolant down into the 20's & 30's.

Watch the video and look closely at all the data.....ambient air temp, IAT (after the intercooler as this is a topmount application) ECT, etc.

Only adds 9-12#s and no consumables to ever buy again. The competition mode shuts off the cabin AC so no water to drip on the track, etc.

Ok, a .81 hot side on a 76 would work good. There are a couple mp70's for sale with .96 hot side A/R, would one of those spool about the same as a 76 with a .81 A/R ?
My turbo sits about 2ft closer to the engine then it would on a ECSB and all the hot pipes are wrapped up good.

Thanks for all the responses.

Y'all need to do a front mount. You can run a bigger turbo and still have less lag. I run a 76mm with a 1.0 exhaust housing and its instaboost on my 5.3

My freind bought my magnum t76 q trim .96 ar on his the cab rear mount with 5.3. He went from 12.6 to 12.2s with the new one over his small eBay turbo with same boost. Takes a few seconds to start spooling on the foot brake but leaves hard and doesn't fall off up top. I figure a .81 would help a lil in spool time
