Default Help w/ 95 k1500 5.3 procharger setup

Hey guys..I have a 95 k1500 that has an 01 5.3 lm7/60e in it. I recently picked up a polished d1sc procharger that came with intercooler, plumbing, 80# injectors, red race valve and some other goodies. Question is what else will i need? Guessing shift kit and bigger fuel pump to start but what else should i get? I have pretty modest goals in the 400-500hp category.

Most of the supercharger guys say you need a good exhaust too, a set of long tubes would be the best

Stock bottem end can handle 600-700+, been done plenty of times.

The 60e will last a little while, but will explode on you at some point. That will always be your weak point, and the rear end.

Fuel pump, 2-3 bar map sensor, gauges like a boost and a wideband. A tune is required too.

Okay thanks man, i think im going to try a shift kit to help hold the power and if it goes then it goes. Rear end does make me somewhat nervous but it does have gears and a detroit locker so that gives me alittle more confidence

Head unit and intercooer are mounted. Anyone know what adaptor id need to put these injectors from a 2008 6.0 on my 2001 5.3? I believe my harness is the ev1 plug but not positive

Is this Hulk from LS1truck? If so, glad to see you adding boost! How's the swap so far? I'm also going FI.

The 2001 injectors would be Multec 2, I also have an 01 engine in my 95. The 2008 should be EV6/USCAR IIRC.

Here's a link to thread with some good info
