Default help me spec a turbo

I'm doing an s10 build. First time ever messing with an s10 but here goes. i have a 1998 rcsb 2wd. i have a 6.0/4l80e also with a 218/218 stock48 cam. running 3.73 gears with an 8.8 rear end. this is primarily a daily driver type build, it might see some track use. i'm still not sure if i can use a kb turbo log in the s10 yet, but i'm thinking a t4 turbo, this will be a front mount without a/c. stuck between an s475 and s480. looking to be around 15 psi primarily, might turn it up a little bit. truck will probably weigh 3600? with me in it. what would you do???

Focus on power not on boost. They are not the same. 75 will be around 700hp, 80 around 1000 at full go.

stock heads/truck intake, so whatever they will flow. will the 80 be too laggy? what size turbine would be best on the 80?

My main concern is making the turbo fit under the hood. Losing AC will help a lot, but still. I would cross that path first. Space as side I would say s480. With a truck that light in the rear and so much power I would want the boost to hit a little later. By going a tad larger you can help prevent blowing the tires off right away. Especially in a driver this will make it more predictable on the street. A s10 will be giving you 100x more road feel than a full sized. Its fun because it means you really get to drive it right to the edge. Having a more reasonable setup down low will make it much more friendly on the street. Plus deadly from a roll.

Put an On3 on there if the borg is to expensive. I keep hearing all these damn success stories. Now I want to put a couple of On3's on a 4.8L-6.0L and push the **** out of them.

Couple of years ago before the borgs were popular precisions and garrets were $2000+, then the borgs hit and now $800 is the normal. Now the on3 brand is here and $300 is what people expect to pay.

A BW will do great with that setup.
