Finally bent the rods and cracked some pistons at the wrist pins in my truck. I have a gen 4 6.0 ready to take the old 5.3s place. This is the cam I was running in the 5.3 212-220 557/564 on a 118 lsa this was speced as a blower cam but ran quite well in my setup. This is the cam I had 8n the 6.0 it's a cam motion grind 221-226 56?/56? On 113 lsa. Which would you use truck in my sig.

I'm a cheap bastard, I'm leaning toward running the cam motion grind because it chopped good in my na. 6.0 and I hated how the 5.3 sounded stock with the 118 lsa.

 

Cam motion if those were my two choices

 

yes. the 113 will have a nice choppy idle

Are you building it for power or sound? What type of FI do you have and how much boost?

 

Mobile site doesn't show a sig. But I'm going to use the cam motion grind. Setup is a 99 RCSB z71 80e on3 78/75 . Ran a best of 11.12 at 121 mph with the gen3. 5.3 17lbs boost.
