Default Has anyone bought from catchcans.com?

I've been researching catchcans. I'm going to be going turbo probably next spring. I'm collecting all the parts I can think of.

I came across catchcans.com. Anyone bought from them?

Is 94.00 a reasonable price?

All the pictures show them mounted on the left side. Thought that was unusual.

This is where I got my catch can from. Got it through a group purchase so I did not deal with the site directly. Been very happy with it. Although I think I need to re-seal the threads on the barb fittings where they go into the can.

Here is when I first installed it. Engine bay has since been cleaned.

Do you think this one would not be good for boost, even if I have the check-valve style PCV in the valve cover?

Those are the Mike Norris cans. I run one, I picked it up from Scoggin Dickey though. Most are shown on the passenger side because Corvettes and Camaros have the PCV on that side.

Here's a link to the RX ones.

Revextreme.com

I would imagine that if you were to put a check valve inline with the catchcans.com one, it would effectively be the same.

So, what check valve are you guys running?

Just ordered a blue catch can. I run a one way check valve in between catch can and intake. I got the one-way check valve from local speed shop.

Well I decided to go with the black one from catchcans. I'm eager to get it installed on my stock 5.3L. I consume about a quart of oil every 5000 mile oil change. I run Mobil 1. It'll be interesting to see how much oil I recoup.

I'll be doing a 6.0L swap when I go turbo. I'll have to do some research on check valves now. I don't have a local speed shop so I'll have to mail order. Unless you can get them from Napa or Autozone.

Thanks fellas.

I run one from CC.com as well, It seems to work great. And you can get a pcv "check valve" style from a 90's SC'd Thunderbird...Its a direct fit
