Are you guys running these in line with the bottom port of the waste gates like hallman instructions say....or using both ports on wg and running boost controller to the top port of wg? Hallman instructions conflict with jgs's instructions on installing manual boost controllers?

run it inline with the vacuum line already connected to the waste gate. So follow hallmans instructions. I mounted mine in the cigarette lighter hole.

I just used the side port on my tial, So it gos from the vac source to the bc, then to the side of the wg. The top port stays left alone. I have heard of people doing it different ways, but mine works fine.
Awesome guys. ..thanks a lot. I was leaning on this method and leaving top hole open to vent. But that clears it up.
. One more thing... I been running my wg reference off vacuum block so it sees vacuum when not in boost..and works fine? Jgs says no no LOL so moving to Turbo outlet...is this where you guys reference from?

My whole setup runs one line from the manifold to the vaccucm block. Then everything else runs off the block. I have no issues what so ever. My meth switch is set up to come on at 10psi and it does this exactly at 10psi, so I know that the block is not affecting the boost readings.

You must have a cluster of t's.... Running the vac block of the manifold is the same, just a cleaner look.Originally Posted by charcold-bowtie

Yeah seems like most guys i see run off the manifold... but tial and jgs both say to reference "pre throttle body" so it never sees vacuum. But so far I have not read of one "actual" failure from a wastegate seeing vacuum. I don't see how it would damage anything???
