Default Guys with 42/44#'s and 255 in-tank...

I have searched till im blue in the face, and even posted something on this a few months back, but i would like to know how far you went on this fuel setup.... Hp/tq numbers. I would like 60's later but i have 44's now and a 255 and want to use them as far as it will go.. I have read up to 500rwhp which is great!! But some guys are maxing them out a little over 400rwhp So forgive my ignorance but how come such a broad range of numbers till "maxed" out? Thanks for replies guys

Not sure about dyno numbers , but all three front mounts in my area are running that set up and we are all around 100%. If you logged it, I bet you are maxed out now!

I'm over 500rwhp with 42s, though I do run meth as well. Not to say you should, but it can be done. It's all in the tune.

Yeah kyle also said I should be ok as well to 500 which will suit me fine for my dd. I also plan on running meth as well this summer... And get some 60s when I go 10 psi later

I have the 42# marine? that come with the Radix, and they are 100% duty at 4900 RPMs. The Walbro 255 pump is still pushing strong. So the injectors will max out first.

Time for bigger injectors.. The 255 pumps can support more then 500 hp.. You could give the meth a try, but I would swap to new injectors. I am running 60lbrs, have seen as high as 78-80% IDC's so i would think they are plenty for you..

The big variance is from the huge range of drivetrain efficiencies and dyno calibrations.

An engine that makes 500rwhp on a truck with an 80e, 14b, 4wd, and 40" tires is putting out a lot more fly wheel horsepower than a truck with 500rwhp with a 60e,10bolt, and 29" tires. This is an exaggeration, but you get the point. Also dynojets for instance typically dyno higher than say a mustang dyno.
