hey guys i have a question. there is a guy on ebay selling a used whipple ans he is only 15min from my house. i offered him 500 and he said he would take it. i just bought a powerdyne for my truck and love it. not many do but i do. any ways you think its worth it? here is the link.

I would say that is for the OBS 454 right? I don't know what you are running now but it might be some fab work to get it to fit.

 

Looks like youll need alot of one of parts and time to make it work. You might be able to buy the discharge manifold, intake elbow, and any pully and mounting brackets from whipple for a 4.8 if thats what you have?

 

I was trying to compare pics and it looked like an 99-02 style with cable tb. Any help with be greatly appreciated.

 

Just the fact that the ebay auction says it has 454 and 6/97 makes me think it is not for the LS motors. And probably built in 1997.

You could call whipple and see what year it is for.

 

It might be $500 but the time and cost its going to take to chase down the parts isnt going to be worth it. The worst thing is Whipple might not make parts for that blower anymore.
