Hmmmmmmmm......got about 60 more days to study, and ponder the subject! Hope any other 5.3 people that did the conversion might chime in.

I did the 90mm conversion on my 2005 5.3 Sierra 4x4 and I have the same problem, the scanner tps says 100% but the actual TB blade will only open
somewhere between 75% & 85%.

just a bit of humor...TB blade wasn't opening all the way on cablebandit's new 90mm TB on his freshly installed turbo'd set-up yesterday...

we found the problem...

a hose clamp directly behind the cable controlled TB lever...

turned the gear around...problem solved...

Lil update:

I got mine plugged in today and played around with it a bit. Bad news: the pcm sets a limit at 100% on the parameter controlling the TB blade (possibly to protect the circuit that feeds the blade motor) or I'd have a fix to announce. Good news: I did get it to open a tiny bit more (maybe 3-4%) by adjusting *when* the PCM commands 100%. I watched my log and noticed most of the time my pedal claims to be at 99%... I changed the 99% fields from 96% open to 100% and got a littler bigger movement from the blade.

This may require a custom OS to fix. I'm going to poke around my OS and see what I can see / ask Ross for help

I'm beginning to wonder if the circuit is under powered with this tac or if its jsut software like I first believed.
