Actually, the LS2 TB shouldn't work at all with the newer truck PCMs/OSs if the PCM could see the TPS signals. This is because the newer TB's dual TPS signals move in the same direction while the LS2 and 01-02 dual TPS signals move in opposite directions. I'm guessing that this would trigger a TPS correlation DTC. So the translation of the TP signals into %TP and the correlation checks have to be performed by the TAC module and then relayed to the PCM. So how is the same TAC module able to adapt to the wider sensor range in one application and not the other?

The TAC module change corrects the differences in the TP1 and TP2 directions but the PCM is where most of the "intelligence" of the ETC system is located. I think this is pretty much confirmed by the huge number of ETC tables that are contained in the PCM calibration.

Grippy, did you, or BC notice the same deal with the blade opening less than 90 deg.? I'm wondering if it only is affecting to 6.0 cal, and not the 5.3. I haven't put mine on, yet, still in Afg.

BC says his opens 100%, when I did the test on mine it did not open 100%.

Off Topic: It's been crazy over here(NAVY) with support over in your general region lately
