The tables in HPT also show it at 100% even though it's not actually fully open.

Just curious...what happens with a value of say 125%? or 110% or whatever, just larger than 100%?

so out of everyone that has done the 90mm TB conversion, are zippy and I the only ones that have experienced this problem? (ie the throttle blade not opening fully).

Nope. I brought this up before. Could it be the TAC module? Do the LS2s use one or is it built into the PCM?

Like I said holty,...I do see the issue you are having. Can you quantify the amount of blade movement that is required to show a full WOT? I'd say I have another 5-8* I can force it open with my finger.

oh yeah, sorry, i forgot about you Kevin

I would say mine is also about 5, maybe 10 degress away from being at 90* when at WOT.

With my Nick Williams TB I had to make a new cable bracket to get the TB blade to work right. After that i have perfect TPS. Then again I have an '01 setup and not the DBW.

You ever figure out the cruise control issue?

Damn, I forgot. I'll call up Rick today and see if he can see how to put the F-body clip on it. Thanks for the reminder lol. I dont have the truck as he has been swapping the converter and tuning it for me.

I just received my 90mm tb and kit from WCCH and plugged it all in.

I first checked my stock setup with my HPT scanner connected.
stock the TB goes all the way open 90* at 100% TPS indicated just before the throttle pedal is all the way down.

Next I checked the 90mm stuff, it will only open 75% of the way,
the scanner shows that the throttle is at 100% when the throttle pedal is only at 75% if you push the throttle more nothing changes still indicates 100%
and the TB is still only 75% open, I think this is a problem and my be why some are not seeing the expected gains from this mod.

attached is a pic of my stock tb at WOT and a pic of the 90mm at WOT.

BTW this is on my 2005 GMC truck in the sig.
