Gauges installed. Are they reading correct?
I just finished installing Autometer electric Boost/Vac and Fuel Pressure gauges and I took the SS out for a test drive to see what kind of readings I'm getting. I don't have any prior experience with an F/I setup so I want to be sure that my readings are "normal." Here's what I'm seeing:
At Idle:
16 Vac on the boost gauge, 61 PSI on the fuel pressure gauge
At 65mph cruising:
10 Vac, 60 PSI fuel pressure
At part throttle (accelerating from 65mph to 75mph)
0 Boost/Vac, 60 PSI fuel pressure
At WOT (60mph to 80mph blast)
6 lbs. of Boost, 55-56 PSI fuel pressure
Decceleration (65mph down to 35mph @ the off ramp)
19 Vac, 60 PSI fuel pressure
Do those readings sound ok? Current mods are in my sig BTW...

What year is your truck? I'd say those readings are correct for a 2004+ year truck. The fuel pressure shows the characteristics of a tank mounted fuel pressure regulator. On a 03 and older vehicle, you'd see the opposite - mid 50s psi at idle, ~58psi at part throttle and low 60s psi at WOT.
