Default Fuel system upgrade for whipple on L86

I’m wanting to add a whipple to my CCSB z71.

L86 with 8L90

forged rods and pistons. BTR stage 1 supercharger cam.

should I upgrade fuel system with this?

what about in tank pump?

Absolutely or you'll be extremely limited. Above that it gets real expensive but it just depends. How much boost?
How much hp you looking for?

unknown amount of boost, as I’m waiting on parts.

It needs to run on 91 octane with daily driver reliability.

cleaned up heads with just some port matching and flash removal. Nice valve job. ARH headers running into Borla S exhaust. S&B cold air box.

I’m looking to see what power that would make.

I suspect a built 8L90, a custom driveshaft, and a differential upgrade will be part of this.

In that case since meth isn't a great option for these because of unequal fuel distribution and reliability (not if but when) IF your cam has a big fuel lobe you will make some good power with the LT4 stuff and intank that Armageddon offers. The 8L should be fine with a good tuner. The G80 can last ok long as you do it in a straight line and don't lose traction on one wheel then it will die. Driveshaft is probably a good idea. If you want to go further on hp, fuel injection connection has +30 injectors and a LPE big bore pump that will carry you far with a hellcat intank pump or a DSX auxiliary. Then my choice, and what I will be doing for my twins although not as simplistic, is Crawford Racing's all in one kit for port injection like a ZR1. 1500whp capable on E85. Best of luck you're gonna have some fun.

Ted I left you a pic on your twin turbo thread. It won’t work for a PD blower but it will for your set up it might. Houston House of Power is using a LS7 intake with an adapter on a L83 for port injection.

BTW there is a guy that goes by toohighpsi on Camaro6 forum that makes port adapter plates for PD blowers and they are reasonable. He has an LT1 Camaro running very strong with a 2650 or a 2900 iirc. Nothing turbo though. Also Parish8 has gotten over 1050whp on an L83 with stock heads, dropins, cam, twins and chiller intake. Crazy.
