Thanks bro...

Ok after alot of reading here is how I think Im gonna do it. Im gonna run the current pump as is off of stock wiring. Then the second pump will be run off of a hoobs switch. This will draw power from a key on power source then to a relay that will get power from the alt. Then I will run 12/14? gauge wire straight to the second pump. Fuel line will be new -6 feed with inline filter to aeromotive 13129 reg spliced into factory fuel rail line. Then from the reg to the factory feed line connection at the rails for the return. How does this sound? Make suggestions, I only wanna do it once, lol. Suggestions on inline fuel filter? Thanks Nick

FYI, I know this was discussed earlier but I used an 03+ (late) C5/C6 hot wire harness from Racetronix for my factory 2006 setup. I did have to swap the Power and Ground pins but that was easy enough. They also have the earlier C5 tank bulkhead electrical feedthru setup to power 2 pumps through 2 feedthru's... and Racetronix also has those (97-03E C5) hot wire harnesses. There is a thread of this application being used floating around here on PT somewhere... thinking maybe it was 2toneblown(?) that did a nice writeup. One manufacturer of 5/16" submersible fuel hose is Gates. Gates suppliers should be able to look that up for you... not cheap but the correct hose for the application.

The pumps have a check valve built in them, but they don't always seal right. A good check valve will make sure you don't get any back flow through the second pump when its not running.
