I'm not for sure but some of those trucks were fitted with the same pump and lines as a flexfuel but just not with the programming. Not for sure though.

The flex fuel pump is a higher volume pump than the regular pump. I'm fairly sure you can just swap buckets. Not 100%. If you're really worried about fuel supply, you can drop a walbro 255lph or equivalent in it.

My main concern is if the walbro 255 will work with the returnless setup since it runs by pulsing not just constant pressure like a normal return style system does

If youre worried too, can always just add a walbro or aero 340 in tank on a hobbs switch. Then you can keep the stocker workin till x amount of boost, then at x amount of boost the 2nd pump kicks on and you are golden. This is what i did works great.

All fuel system are basically a return style systems. The factory units just have excess pressure go right back into the tank (the return is in the tank). Other wise you would be burning up fuel pumps like crazy. What are you planning to do with the truck? If your just gonna run e85 a factory pump is fine, but if your looking to make more you want an aftermarket like listed above. They only run about $100. Buy once it will save you money.
