Default Fuel system??

Ok im new to boost, im doing a front mount turbo setup on my 99 silverado, ill be running a 4.8 to get me started but will end up with a cammed 5.3. I want to run e85 on it and I have a 255 pump in the tank right now with a psi regulater under by the frame, it returns from there and have a fuel line going up the rail. Whats the best way to go from here? Do I need a second line like stock48 did? of can I put a bigger pump in the tank? A bigger intake and add an inline? Im kind of on a budget so im looking for the cheapest way but ill spend what I have too to have it reliable too.
It should be making up to 800hp with 15-18psi when its all done. thanks

regardless of what engine you're gonna use, e85 and 800hp require a lot of injector and fuel. One walbro isn't going to cut it, and in addition to the intake pump, a walbro inline isn't going to help much either, done that before.
We have done a walbro intank feeding an inline a1000, that supplied and will supply plenty of fuel.
Twin intank pumps and an external regulator with aftermarket rails will supply quite a bit of fuel.
You gotta a steep hill to climb trying to achieve that 800hp mark with around 16psi.

good luck,

Yeah it wont with this motor but with the next one it will make that power.. maybe. but im going with 80lb injectors. Im just trying to learn a little bit more about these fuel systems, I didnt know what would happen if I put a bigger inline pump then whats in the tank, does the pump move more fuel at lower psi or does it just spin at one speed and move only so much fuel and end up restricting the inline pump?? Looks like the a1000 in around 320 bucks with aint bad at all, I will go this way if you guys think it will work with just a 255 pump in the tank.

I've used two walbros before, one inline and one intank, it basically did just as good as one walbro intank.

I am not a big fan of FPR on the frame rail. I started with mine there, and couldn't believe the fuel pressure loss at the fuel rail just due to how restrictive the stock fuel line is. I would run a FPR at the end of the fuel rails tying them together, and feeding them from the other end. You will need to move a massive amount of e85 to make that power.

Allen...y'all have had good luck w/ a Walbro in-tank feeding a hi-volume in-line?
I have one feeding an in-line Bosch and have always thought the Walbro was restricting the Bosch.

Those 80's won't be enough injector to make 800hp on e85...not from what I've seen.

You should be able to hit that goal with dual intank walbros with a bigger feed and return line. I don't know if the 80# injectors will be big enough or not at that power on e85. I just did a fuel system build on my truck built for e85 should be good for 800 hp. If you want to check out details of my build click this Fuel System Build - SilveradoSS.com

I was kind of afraid of this too, I know I wont be making 800hp for a while but I plan on it one day and I dont want to do it twice. Ill do some more looking around but wow they get pricey when they are that big. And i was also thinking of moving the psi reg after the rail to, I think this will help it out quite a bit also.
