Guys, what are you guys getting away with as far as fuel system on your 5.3s? I have the mild 5.3 in my sig.. cam and bolt-ons.. I was looking into KBs kit with a 70mm at around 7 psi. Can i get away with a walbro 255 in the tank and some delphi 44# injectors since i already have them.. and what kind of power can those fuel injectors and pump support?? Would love with the turbo and a few more items to get in the mid 400's rwhp range. Thanks in advance

 

You are good on fuel and should be in the mid 400 range. I run a 255 intank and 60# injectors on a 5.3 with 10psi. This is on a returnless system.

 

everone says walbro 255 and 42lb injectors will support 500rwhp.you should be fine on 7lbs of boost.theres guys running that same fuel setup on 12lbs of boost.i have 42lbers and walbro 255 and im running 5lbs of boost.i would run more boost if i didn't still have stock tranny

whew... that asnwered my question too! i have 42lb injectors and a pro-charger frame-mount booster pump for my vortech v-2 setup! sounds like i should be good with fuel. sorry to thread jack, but will this be okay with a return system and stock fpr?

 

Im running a 255 with 42lbrs and dynoed 410, my injectors were 110% at 8psi. Get the 60lbrs.
