Well I was planning to go to a smaller pulley on the SC. Possibly a 2.9, I'm at a 3.2 right now. Other than that not really. But seeing as the factory one just lasted me what 6-7 months. I wanted to see if there was an upgrade out there.

I recommend the pump from the dealer. If you install it yourself, you will have a one year warranty. If you have it installed by a Goodwrench Service Plus dealer, it will be lifetime warranty. I'm sure others will recommend Walbro or other brands, but they also fail, and have less warranty.

Stock pump in the tank, plus the Radix pump on the frame will be just fine.

The bleed off is normal, So you are getting power, what about ground? can you hear the pump run?
Problem solved. Fuse holder directly in front of Boost-a-Pump had wires broken inside. Sometimes I could get 12 volts, sometimes not. Intermittent problems are a pain. Once I started moving and checking things I moved it enough to make the wires touch inside the jacket. And this is a new unit. New fuse holder, and she fires right off. Go figure!

2001 GMC C3 with radix & new 255 Walbro inline pump & filter. The original 190 Walbro was very noisy but new pump is still the same. I am wondering if the intank pump is bad??.. fuel seems to drain back if truck sits some time.. I have to turn key on & off & on 2 or 3 times after it sits before it will start. Also the inline pump seems to have a surging sound to it at times.

Thanks,
Is the check valve part of the in tank pump?
I will rig up a pressure gage next.
Is using a aftermarket pump & installing in the original pickup/sender assembly an "OK" option?

Thanks for the help guys. I finally got a new pump in the tank. The old one still had a warranty on it, but the parts place didn't have one in stock, so they had to get one. So it took a little longer than usual to get in. We put it in last night and the truck fired right up with no problems. It's been running great, however when we checked the fuel pressure at idle it read 50PSI? Normal?
