Yea I have mine dumping to the ground and it is way to loud, I had it go back into the exhaust but it has to much back pressure and causing it to over boost so I am going to take the muffler off and see if that will work.How much pipe did you have between the wastegate and the down pipe?

 

lost an engine due to the WG being plumbed that way. I would vent to atmosphere no matter what.
