I have a 4" stainless exhaust that bolts up to my 3.5" DP. It is just 3.5" at the flange, then quickly steps to 4" all the way back with around a 24" Magnaflow. Like Trick said, it's a straight shot from the DP all the way back until it hops over the rear end. Simplest route would probably be a 4" dmax cat back or just take it straight back and dump it before the muffler.

Well the diesel exhaust would be for a turbo setup. I currently have lts and a complete stainless exhaust for a blower setup.

Thought that's what you were asking about, my bad. If you keep your y-pipe, it would probably cheaper to just buy the pipe and muffler rather than the catback. Still yet, it would be a straight shot until you cross the diff.
I think you need to pick yourself up some hot parts and a MP T76

Ya it was, didnt see your post when i posted. If i go turbo then ill do like you did. Just looking for some picks of a setup like yours. Wondering where the downpipe ends at under the truck. Obviosly if i go turbo ill be pulling my current exhaust. Althought i guess i could get a pipe to merge my down pipe to my current dual mid pipes.

This is 3 inch pipe. When I went to 4 inch, I replaced this pipe directly with a straight joint of 4 inch, and left the muffler mounted in the exact place. The only thing was there was a small 'crick' at the DP, and at the muffler. The bought mufflers packages dont go thru the gap like my current setup. This is the old turbo kit and exhaust. I dont see the advantage of a bent piece of pipe compared to the flow of a straight joint, as well as its easier

When I finish the truck, it will be back to 5 inch DP, to 4 inch straigh joint, to the same muffler.

3" downpipe to a 4" adaptor, 32" of 4"pipe into stock gm duramax muffler, then another 12" of 4" pipe exiting at back of cab and I love the sound at idle and under boost.

Good luck with the new blower
