You're going to catch hell for the Chinese head studs. I run them. I will run them with boost. I know people running over 20lbs of boost with them. Just letting you know...
Also, I'd run a piston that would get me around 9.0 static comp. with the 317s. You can still make some power out of boost, and don't have to spray a shitload of meth.

If you or your tuner knows what they are doing you don't need low compression with boost
Just finished up a Twin 7665 on a 11.0 motor at 19 psi on 93
List ok but why spend all that money and skimp out on Chinese head studs? Those are an alternative for junk yard motors but motors you care about buy ARP
Now what is your goal for power?

I have true flat top lq9 pistons in my 6L with ported 317's. Comp worked out to 10.24 when I ran the numbers. Cast T4 S475 too. JFR triple 12 cam. 15lbs of boost on pump 93 and Meth netted me around 800rwhp. (5450 race weight, 11.0@125) A very nice setup I think.

I think that cam is a little on the small side...but that just means it'll run nice and still make big power lol.
I wouldn't be afraid of the compression...just make sure you've got a good tuner if you don't know how to do it well yourself.
